My Carnival ship arrives in Calica at 1 pm, then leaves at 10 pm. I wanted to do the 5 hour Tulum excursion. (It says 45 min. ride one way) Has anyone done this with this schedule? Is it Thanks,

Jane

We docked in Calica from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm and did the 7-hour Tulum/Xel-Ha excursion with no troubles whatsoever...if you stick with the Carnival-sponsored excursions that you book on board (or in advance), they will guarantee you arrive back at the ship before they sail. (It really is about a 45-minute bus ride from Calica.)

We were on the Fascination last March. In port 1-10. Many ship sponsored tours to Tulum which did not return until around 7. Most people with early dinner on tours missed it but just went to the buffet that night. If I remember correctly, dinner that night wasn't great...buffet looked wonderful and it was packed around 7 or so.
