Waitlisted

Hi,

 

I put a deposit on the July 5th sailing of the Crown this past Friday and as of yesterday we are number 28 on the overall waitlist. Does it sound like we have a remote possibility of going? Does anyone have any advice or a positive story of being waitlisted and then getting on the ship? I'm relatively new to cruising, otherwise I would have put a deposit down much sooner.

I, too, am interested in this as I am looking into a minisuite on the Crown on 9/6/07 and they only have them listed as waitlisted on the Princess website. I couldn't tell without fully booking what the waitlist number was, but I would rather have a confirmed booking. I will check some other sites in case Princess is "off" or if a mini-suite truly may not be available.

Since final payment has already been made, most that were going to cancel have already done so. Only cancellations between now and July will probably be those having a health issues or an emergency. Not sure if I would start packing my bags................but you can still hope!

I would think the Sept date has more of a chance. 4th of July is such a poplar time of the year...not sure 28 people will cancel I will keep my fingers crossed for you though!
