rent snorkel gear on ship

Anyone know how much to rent snorkel gear from the ship? Does it include a vest? I am going on Carnival Legend.

I'm not sure if I can be of any help, but on the Triumph they sold just the snorkels for $5. That is best since it goes in your mouth:p . Then most every Island has the fins, masks and vests to rent. I'm not sure if the ships rent the gear. I don't know if this is a fleet-wide thing or not.

They no longer rent out snorkle equipment, they do have a limited amount of cheapy that they sell but not always. Just head to your nearest Walmart and pick something up, if you want high quality equipment then find a local Dive Shop in your area for equipment that will be tailored to you.

Ship doesn't rent snorkling gear. You can purchase a snorkle for 5 dollars. But the local snorkling shore execursions supply equipment.

 

I personally own all equipment as I don't like the rentals, etc, etc.

Thanks for the snorkel rental information. I guess we will buy some before we go. We had planned on going on our own instead of excursions in some ports and will need equipment.

Hey Fred, when did they stop renting it? I have mine own as I took up diving. So, I guess I haven't been paying attention. :eek: It used to be a big thing. "Rent now before we run out, limited number":D
