Pre Cruise Hotel Fort Lauderdale

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can tell me a good hotel to stay where you can park and cruise and offers shuttle to the port.

My son and his family will be driving from Georgia and I will be flying in from Tennessee to meet them.

The Renaissance Fort Lauderdale-Plantation Hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport. No shuttle from airport or to port, so you need to take a taxi or hire a service. You can park at the hotel free during your cruise.

Do you happen to know a good shuttle service.

I remember getting one in Orlando but can't remember the name that picked us up at the airport and took us to the hotel, then next morning came and got us to take us to the port and then after the cruise back to the airport.

We're using Infinity (http://www.infinity-transportation.com/) this December to take us from the Renaissance to the Port of Miami. I called for reservations rather than using their online reservation system. We haven't used them yet, but they were very nice to deal with.

Thanks again I'll check them out. We will be leaving from Port Everglades I think on the Enchantment of the Sea.

Just really getting started on information and plans, due to my Son and family vacation time that's so far the choice we have right now. They didn't much want to go on Carnival they have a couple of ships leaving the dates we need, they have been on Disney took my grandson last year and really want to do a Disney again but none with the dates they can go and where they want to go.

I have been on Mariner and wanted them to experience a ship like Mariner, but no cruise to Grand Cayman and Cozumel the week they can go.

So I guess it's going to have to be the Enchantment of the Sea.
