Nassau? What should we do?

Need help deciding what to do in Nassau? Shopping/Snorkeling? Anyone done the powerboat excursion or rented a small boat on your own?

Don't go to Nassau and not go to Atlantis!!! You can take a cab over or book the water taxi trip over there through the ship and see the underground aquarium et al - well worth the effort. They have a casino as well - now be prepared if you decide you want something to eat while you are over there. We hit the marina deli and they were asking $13.00 for a bowl of macaroni and cheese - not kidding!! Its a beautiful place though.

We've been there three times -- and the last two we've spent our time at the Ardastra Gardens & Zoo .... OMG it is sooooooooooo gorgeous there!! And that's where the "marching flamingos" are ... we just LOVE that place best of all. Take a cab and arrange for him to pick you back up later ... timing was perfect.

Ardasta Gardens is great! Very unique and relaxing, never crowded. We found it by accident and love going there. The marching Flamingos are incredible.

Stuart Cove is awesome for snorkeling! We have snorkeled several places and this by far was the best. We stayed at at Atlantis for 3 nights...I wasn't that impressed!

I highly recommend the afternoon snorkeling excursion with Stuarts Cove (the daytime excursion does not include the snorkeling with sharks) - what a great time we had!
