Drink Packages

Hi everyone,

We are thinking of sailing on Carnival Freedom next year and it will be our first Carnival Cruise. Some people thought that they allow you to buy a number of coupons for drinks on the first day. Does anyone know if this is true?

Are there any types of drink packages on this ship? If yes, does anyone know the prices and quantities?

If you bring your own wine to dinner, do you know what the corkage fees are?

Thanks :)

I have purchased in advance coupons for alcoholic drinks, they were about 4.25 each, books of something like 10. There are fountain drink cards you can buy on the ship for the duration of your trip per person, but I dont know alot about those as we dont drink soda much. There is always usually free most of the time, ice tea, fruit juices, coffee, tea. sometimes lemonade also. Dont know if this helps at all.

Great info is available on Carnival's own website.

Look under Gifts for the bar credit / drink coupons. They must be bought in advance and are $19.50 for four coupons which includes tip.

The answer to your second question can be found in the Carnival FAQ. http://www.carnival.com/CMS/FAQs/FAQLanding.aspx. Look under beverage service / can I bring liquor on board? for info on corkage fees.
