Jacquelyn11 Posted August 15, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2004 Also, what is the earliest you can check in at Port Canaveral? I'm happliy booked on the Mariner in a D1 on deck 9, and I noticed the Concierge Club is right across from us. Anybody been there and know what goes on? besides the free food? It seem most of the "concierge" cabins are on the deck above us! If one wanted to "upgrade" at the port, how much does it usually cost? I assume they take into account the accomidation you have already purchaced to determine the price. Who at the cruise counter do you ask? " The only DUMB question is the one you DON'T ASK!" Alexis Posted August 15, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2004 I can only answer this part of your question. "To upgrade from: Inside to RS(Royal Suite) $1500.00 Suite to Suite 1000.00 Balcony to Balcony 600.00 Outside to outside 300.00 Inside to inside 100.00 Outside to RS 1200.00 Suite to suite 700.00 Balcony to balcony 300.00 Outside to outside 100.00 Balcony to RS 1000.00 Balcony to suite 400.00 Balcony to balcony 100.00 Suite to RS 800.00 Suite to suite 400.00" I believe that the first two categories should have been constant for all category upgrades as the balcony and suite categories (last 2 categories) were listed. These prices were listed as the cost for upgrades for 7 day cruises.

Jacquelyn11 Posted August 16, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted August 16, 2004 That lets me know how many more pennies I need to save between now and May. BTW, that upgrade from outside to suite is ANY suite?? and this is total price, not PP? Still have the how early is the check in and whom to ask?? We drive down from Atlanta and stay at the Radisson. DH drops our bags, me and the kids off early, usually 11am, at the port, he drives the car back and gets a solo spot on the bus over. We check everything in and leave out a swimsuit change for the kids. I've done this for both Disney and CCL cruises and this worked fine.
