CruiseQueen13 Posted June 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2007 Can someone tell me what the difference is in 8A balcony size of a rear facing aft balcony (e.g,. 6426) as opposed to a regular 8A balcony? Is there much of a difference? First time on Carnival in recent years. Thanks.
caribbean dreams Posted June 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2007 The Balcony facing aft is about the same length bit is about twice as deep as the normal 8A balcony. Some ships, the aft balcony dividers are at a slant so you can see all you nieghbors on each side of you, that is a turn off for some people. excalwop Posted June 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2007 Did the Valor Nov. 2006 Had Cabin 6458 and enjoyed it greatly. Had lots of storage space and the Bal. was OK Great view had to watch out when they clean the upper decks got some water from that but not much else. Turn off; the sloping rails. Had two kids climbed The stern in Costa Maya security met them at our Bal. Long walk to most areas But help work the meals.Wanting to see a show It is a good walk to get to Yes at the other end of the ship. Finding your cabin is simple just head to the rear of the ship Just make sure you are on the correct deck. As to size there is not much Difference between the two just about 2 feet deeper And you get to see more both sides of what you are sailing by and not just what you are can see from a side Bal.. Will we get a aft bal again! Drop by our cabin on the Destiny this Nov. and enjoy the view:D Paul
