San Juan on New Years Day

I have a couple of questions regarding San Juan. We have been there many times before, but this next visit will be on Freedom of the Seas and we arrive in San Juan at 3:00 pm.

I understand that Freedom docks at the old pier in OSJ, correct?

What will be open on New Years Day?

Will the restaurants and bars stay open through the evening?

Thanks for any help/suggestions.

I'm jealous. OSJ will be wild on New Year's and you'll have a lot of fun. I wish I could be there, but I know it would be mobscene and parking a car is out of the question. Ok - answers;

Freedom docks at OSJ, yes. You can walk from there.

The bars, restaurants, and nightclubs will be open. The stores will be open in the afternoon, but some may close a little earlier.
