Justanut Posted June 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2007 If we're taking an Alaskan cruise RT from Seattle - with a mini-suite - should we get Starboard or Port rooms? Which ones will give us the best view going and coming? THANKS!
Toyz711 Posted June 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2007 this is discusssed a great deal, since while cruising there are views on both sides of the ship. what you don't see going up, you will see going down...in a way. (ships take different routes) but if you are cruising glacier bay, you will want the port side...IF you plan on doing any glacier viewing from your balcony. while entering the national park, everything the park rangers talk about are on the port side, plus you are closer to land. when they stop at the glacier, the port side gets the 1st views, sometimes longer viewing.
