Best Beach Near Crown Bay Dock

My wife and I are looking for a good beach within a 20 min. Taxi ride from Crown Bay. I will be taking a Princess Cruise which will be docking in Crown Bay.

I'm docking there too, I heard Magen's Bay is about 20 minutes away....that's where we are headed.

The nearest beach Lindburg Bay also refered here as Emerald (actually the name of a hotel there) is not considered a "great beach". It is close, but no snorkeling, no great views, not so great sand, not as clear water,usually, etc. The "better" beaches are on the other side of the Island, about 30 minutes by cab away. It all depends on what you want to do at the beach, lie in the sand,walk in the water, really swim, use water toys, get a drink (there are 2 hotels right on this beach with food and drink). It is your choice!:)
