Distances in Freeport from dock

How close is Pub on the Mall from the dock? We'll be on the Sensation and will only be in Freeport from 8am - 5pm. We're planning to take a taxi to Rand Nature Center, spend a few hours hiking, then take a cab to Pub on the Mall for lunch before heading back to the ship. Is Pub on the Mall close enough to the dock to walk around and explore a bit as we make our way back to the ship? If it's within 1-2 miles we can walk it.
