Coolcruise02 Posted August 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2004 Booked roundtrip tickets from Pittsburgh to Fort Lauderdale for next March at $84.00 per person. Hope Delta stays afloat until then. Price was also good for travel in October of this year and probably other dates.

Guest Time2gocruzn Posted August 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2004 Well crap. Not for me. For March, $470 per person round trip from Des Moines to Tampa. $277 from Kansas City to Tampa. :( Still waiting for that wonderful airfare to come along, starting to doubt I'll ever find it. Who knew it was so expensive to escape the midwest by air.

marshabear Posted August 17, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 17, 2004 gutterman dave..... i just checked their website and prices have gone back up to the $218 range....they only run these low prices for a short time -you must check frequently...from what i understand, the best time to find the deals are late tuesday night into wednesday morning....check then.... by the way, i saw much lower prices(like around $157) last tuesday/wednesday, but i found my deal saturday night!! go figure!! just check frequently and when you find a deal, book it-don't wait!! good luck!! Coolcruise02 Posted August 17, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted August 17, 2004 I checked prices a short while ago and the Delta flight that was $86.00 last nite is now $376.00!!!!!! There is no rhyme nor reason as far as I can tell, except that I have gotten my best prices late at nite it seems. Hope some other cruisers were able to get a good price while it lasted.
