Nic's Mom and Pop Posted June 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2007 Share your knowledge please! This will be our fourth cruise on Holland America. Our last cruise was on the Noordam last October. We need to be on the Zuiderdam in November. Can anyone advise me if an SS category is significantly bigger than a SC? Our daughter is a singer in the production shows and we would like to bring our other daughter (adult) with us to visit, putting three in the room. Any response will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks. Thanks.Carol[/quote'] Hi, Mom and Pop: Including the verandah, an SC cabin is larger than an SS cabin. The SC cabin also comes with more amenities. If you can, I would spring for the SC. hammybee Posted June 26, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2007 Cat. SA, SB and SC are 510 square feet compared to 389 square feet in SS, SY, and SZ. The measures include the veranda. If you can swing it, the size of a Deluxe Suite is worth the comfort for 3 passengers, and is a value on a per square foot basis and you get to use the Neptune Lounge and other assorted perks.
