dsteber Posted June 27, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2007 I am not sure of how to insert pics here. Send an email to darrin "at" gd-distributors "dot" com and I'll reply with pics. We LOVED the food and service.

Carolinamamasita Posted July 5, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 5, 2007 They had really great food. A guy came around to sing ... and another lady came to sell jewelry & candies. And then a guy comes over with an iguana... and let my son hold him... It is a great time.
DBXX Posted July 6, 2007 Author #7 Share Posted July 6, 2007 Thanks!! ;) Hey those coconut shirmp, was that a full order (5 of them on that plate?) Is that all you get for the order is 5 and the price is $13.00 I heard, is that correct? WOW if so that is pretty pricey shrimp  Almost $3.00 PER SHRIMP!:( Is that right? Thanks, Danielle
Redsoxfan11 Posted July 6, 2007 #8 Share Posted July 6, 2007 They gave me 6 in my order but DH had 5. It was well worth the price because as you can see they are enormous and are the best coconut shrimp I have ever had. The mango dipping sauce was excellent as was the cole slaw. Also knowing the kitchen and the Cat's Meow's cooking standards are above normal for Mexico was worth a few extra dollars IMHO. DH and I could have split an order. I pay that or more for an order of regular sized shrimp up here in new England. That is expensive by Mexican standards though but they are definitely worth it. Splurge, you won't be sorry and most of all have fun.:)
Carolinamamasita Posted July 7, 2007 #9 Share Posted July 7, 2007 The shrimp are HUGE and very tasty ! Very well worth it to me , will probably be getting some more when I return in October Everything in Costa Maya food wise is going to sound expensive probably... It is a tourist town so to speak... the port is really expensive food & drink wise if you stay there... But HEY ! you are on vacation...ENJOY!
