rncruiser02 Posted June 27, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2007 Does anybody know if New Year's cruises on Carnival are mostly couples or singles? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
scarlet4897 Posted June 27, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2007 Hi! I was on the Imagination 4-day over New Year's 2007, and it seemed like a lot of families and couples. It was a really good mix of all ages and the New Year's Eve Party on the Lido deck was pretty good....I think the ship was up all night b/c we got off the ship at like 7am and the place was "dead" quiet....no one was up then... :)
sheilb4 Posted June 30, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2007 I've been on a several New Years cruises... a wide mix of ages, mainly couples, not too many children.....not too many singles...but usually a good group. I usually enjoy them but last years on Inspiration was the worst yet, it didn't even get going, music, champagne etc until 11.30p!! Other years they start off earlier and they used to have a big screen with the live feed from Times Square with the countdown...that was always so much fun...last year they did not so it was really dull, quiet....very disappointing... rncruiser02 Posted June 30, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted June 30, 2007 Thanks for the information. My friend and I are both single and are thinking about a going on a cruise during this time. We're hoping for some singles onboard. We're still contemplating though!
