A couple of Destiny questions...

I was reading reviews on the Destiny thread and lost it, so I'm posting here. Family group of about 20+ cruising on the Destiny 8/12/07. Anyway I heard some people talking about Carlos & Charlies. Is this a restaurant/bar on the ship or at one of the ports? Also I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the Barbados Thriller Powerboat. We are torn between that and the Jolly Rogers (Of course!). We might go on the thriller powerboat excursions since everyone in the group isn't 21 yet. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

Must have been an older review. When Destiny sailed to Aruba, CnC was a hot spot to visit. Currently there are no ports on the Destiny Itinerary that have a Carlos n Charlies

Awww, that's too bad. It sounded like a cool place to hang out. Oh well, I guess we'll just stay content with the beaches and open bars. Thanks for the help. :)

There is a Senor Frogs close to where the ship docks in San Juan. Much fun can be had there.:p

You will be getting off Destiny...as Im boarding. Be sure to leave some money in the casino.:D

Oh OK, cool. I'll be sure to get the group to check Senor Frogs out. We were looking for things to do in PR since some of us were coming in at different times.

I'm not a big gambler but I think I may try the casino out this time. While on the Holiday and Miracle I was a bingo addict. LOL I may try to coin slots or maybe even familiarize myself with the blackjack table. I'll try and leave you some. :)

We did the Thriller Powerboat in Barbados the first week of June. It was okay...I really wanted to snorkel with sea turtles up close and personal but there was only one sea turtle that afternoon and it really wasn't that close...so I was kind of bummed...now this is not anything they can control so I understand that...the other snorkel stops(the shipwrecks) were cool-we just felt a little rushed, but then again you are a time schedule...so hope this helps
