Which beach to choose?

Take one of the vans for $4 per person to Cabbage Beach. It is beautiful and not crowded at all. You can rent chairs and umbrellas and get drinks. It is located right next to the Atlantis property. There is no charge to use the beach. We were there 6/25/07.

Are there restroom facilities, etc. on Cabbage Beach? We're going to be needing a place to change, etc. Also, where should we plan on having lunch if we're here? Thanks!

No restrooms, no food or beverage (just some vendors passing by with coconut drinks and water). The public beach is not next to Atlantis, but next to the RIU, which is all-inclusive and off limits to non-guests.

If you need more amenities, the Wyndham at Cable Beach allows you use of the pools and beaches and facilities at Cable beach resorts for $15 pp. It's a quick $1 jitney ride to the Wyndham.

Cabbage Beach is just a long stretch of public beach. You'll find local vendors selling their wares, hairbraiding, jewelry etc.
