"Connecting Room" Cabin Assignment

We will be sailing on the Volendam in 2008 on the Sydney-Auckland Cruise. Our assigned cabin is E2665. I noted it is a connecting room. Do you see any problems as far as noise from the adjoining cabin. Any other possible problems with the location.

As a newcomer I'm thanking you in advance.

We've had many connecting rooms (outside cabins) with our friends on HAL & other lines & have never had a problem with noise..Ther are always two doors on connecting rooms just like connecting rooms in Hotels....When you open one door you will have another door to the cabin next to you if you...

Enjoy your cruise..:) Betty

We had cabin D 2560 on the Volendam last Aug. and loved it. There was a connecting door and we never heard any sound at all from our neighbors. The location was convienient for embarking and disembarking and just one flight up to the deck for a quick stroll anytime. We loved the ship.
