Never cruised Cunard but have questions about world cruises

I'm reading all the posts about World Cruises and, one day, maybe I'll be lucky enough to take one, however, reading these posts, I have a number of questions about booking a world cruise:

1) For those of you with pets - how do you arrange for their care? Do you hire pet/house sitters?

2) I see on the Cunard website that tipping is included in the fare and if booked early enough that onboard credit is offered. Do travel agents offer any bonuses above and beyond these perks for a full world cruise?

3) How are VISAS handled? There are countries that will be visited that will require visas - do you have to obtain them or does the cruise line handle that?

4) What type of vaccinations are needed? How far in advance do you get them?

I know these are hard to answer questions but, I'm just being nosey since it is a goal to set for myself for retirement... 25 years from now

You do realize that any answers you get now may not apply in 2032, don't you?

interesting website all about the 2008 QE2 world cruise.http://www.2008worldcruise.com. Newsletter covers a full year of planning and then will morph into a daily blog of the actual voyage. Followed up with an after cruise book about the total experience.

I'm intrigued. Do you know this interesting man who is undertaking this daunting task? ;)

I do. He is a delightful gentleman! In fact I will introduce you when you come aboard in LA.

Oh how wonderful! I am so looking forward to the trip and to meeting this lovely gentleman, so thank you in advance.
