T-shirt warning (colour)

I finally got around to washing the last of the t-shirts and sweatshirts we bought in Alaska. I tested them to see if the colours would run. The blacks and navys were fine. The dark rose coloured all ran. 1 t-shirt & 2 sweats.

 

Their 2 different makers, so I'm thinking its the colour. So watch out before you wash them.:(

Thanks for the caution. I was planning on picking up one or two and would probably go for rose and reds. If it's a particularly yummy-looking one I might still risk it, but I'll pay attention when it's time for the wash!

Once you do wash one, there's a color catcher sheet from Bounce I believe that you can put in w/the wash. It really works.

I make a lot of quilts w/reds (my favorite color) and also use one of these sheets w/cold water the first time I wash the quilt. The sheets do a great job of catching the bleeding.

I know I'll be looking for sweatshirts in red while I'm there.
