Munchies?

Recommended Posts

Are there chips available in any of the lounges or bars on the ship? I know you can order them from room service with sandwiches etc. I remember seeing people sitting at the tables around the casino area with baskets of something but I didn't think much of it at the time. Now my husband mentions he wished they had a chip or something like that to munch on when he drinks his beer. I really don't want to bring a bag of chips with us but I'd feel like a dolt ordering chips from room service and carrying them around on a plate. I know there is one day where they have salsa and tortillia chips set up near the casino but never saw it any other time. Thanks!

I remember tortilla chips, goldfish, and snack mix were in the piano bar. I don't recall if they were at the free standing bars. We spent a lot of time in the piano bar, so I remember that!

It's amazing that I find myself digging my hands into those bowls, even after dinner. At least in the piano bar. Some bars had potato chips, some had this snack mix that was so good. It's all coming back to me now.

They have the tortilla chips, goldfish, and snack mix in the main Atrium bar.

Thank you everyone for your replies. Amazing I missed all of that on our last cruise. Never gave it a thought til hubby said the only thing he missed with his beer was having chips. I'll definatly pass this on to him :) Thanks again!

I'm suprise they have this. It's not very sanitary with Norivirus etc.

Many hands in the group bowl. Anyone ever think that? I never did until my "friend" pointed it out. Now I can't partake w/o thinking of it! lol!!

You must know my friend! :D Truly, it is a point to be considered. yuch!

Are you all the same people who won't eat after dinner mints from a diner because you are afraid other people might not have washed their hands after using the rest room (I make fun of only my sister with that comment)?

The bowls that are put out are tiny. Ask the bartender for a separate bowl or take one of the bowls when first put out. I know how to get my hands on food without worrying about other's germs:D .

I agree -- they are little tiny bowls. The bartenders put them out for you when you order drinks at the lobby bar (and probably at the casino bar and others as well). They put a fresh napkin in the bottom each time, then fill with the "snack of the day" -- we had no problem eating out of them! :p

lol! I'm telling you guys, my friend has ruined it for me! She's much worse! Really! We should just merge this thread with the ones about hand sanitizers and the review of the cruise w/ norovirus and then we'll all just hide in our cabins with masks on for the entire length of our next cruise...that is IF we can drag our scared selves on the boat in the first place! lol!! :p
