Montego Bay Excusion

Recommended Posts

We are looking at the excursions provided by RCI for our August cruise. We are two adults looking to see the jungle/falls part of Jamaica but don't want to spend hours on a bus.

There is an excursion called Mystic Adventures and the duration is 4 hours. It sounds like what we may be interested in. It says it will get us back for lunch but if we dock at 9:00, it would be a late lunch.

Has anyone been on it?

Any suggestions.

Thanks.

Not familiar with the excursion, but if it is 4 hours, it is unlikely that it will take you to Dunns River Falls which is in Ocho Rios. Usually the details provided will indicate how much of the tour is taken up by being transported to and from the destination. Perhaps someone more familiar with this particular excursion can provide details that will help you. A 1- 1:30 pm lunchtime doesn't seem that late, especially if you have a substantial breakfast before going on your tour.:)

On RCCL it says...

Departing from the pier by air-conditioning bus heading west along the scenic coast road, then turn south and through primitive Rain Forest country arriving at Lovers Paradise Mayfield Falls. Sip on a welcome drink, breathe in the clean mountain air, change in to swim apparel and enter showers of the falls for a swim and climb assisted by a special guide.

Experience the water pools and showers of the falls in the midst of nature. Enjoy a dip in one of the many mineral pools, browse through the Arawak Style Village or go through the Nature trail and learn about the healing herbs. Departing is sweet sorrow through the Rain Forest and the mountain roads to sightsee the return journey to the pier.

Seems like a nice excursions. I didn't have that option when I went or I would have jumped on it.
