bbela000 Posted July 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2007 I got the following message with my cruise papers from cruisesonly.com. Has anyone heard if they are really throwing out bottled water?? Please note that effective immediately, Carnival now prohibits passengers from bringing not only alcoholic beverages aboard, but also non-alcoholic beverages, including bottles of water! Any such beverages will be confiscated and discarded, without compensation. As has been customary in the past, alcoholic beverages purchased in the ships gift shops or in ports of call will be retained by Carnival until the conclusion of the voyage. caribbean dreams Posted July 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2007 I believe that is an old message that was only in effect during spring break. The rule is now laxed with 1 bottle of Champagne or wine per person and a resonable amount of water & soda.
