LrdNorman Posted July 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2007 If anyone has been on the Ryandam lately, I'd love to see what their menus look like. My wife and I are trying to watch our weight and we were hoping they would have something low-cal (or similar) every night in the Rotterdam. If anyone has photocopies of the menus, I'd love to see them! Thank you for your help! Kevin
hikergirl Posted July 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2007 We just got back from a cruise on the Ryndam and were very pleased with the quality of food. I don't have a menu, however, several nights a week they served "Greenhouse Spa" selections, that were considered "healthy". You can also order salmon and chicken from their regular menu, which are pretty healthy. Also, the HAL website provides the following info: Special Dietary Needs and Health Conscious Dining (Please make special dietary requests in advance at the time of your booking)*. "Light and Healthy" menu items featuring meals low in sodium and cholesterol We found it very hard to pass up on the deserts and came back 5 pounds heavier! Campbell soup Posted August 27, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2007 LrdNorman, please come back and finish your book/review of the Med cruise. We all miss you very much. I leave on Saturday for our cruise and I was hoping to hear the rest of your story. Karen
Flindy&Doc Posted August 29, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 29, 2007 We just returned from the Ryndam about a week ago and my dining room steward gave me a copy of the menu each evening after dinner. I have a scanner, but don't have a clue about getting them posted here. If anyone can give me a step by step lesson, I'd be happy to supply the whole week.
