You will not find a better man than Mariano to show you around Sorrento and the Amlfi Coast. We went with him in 2003 and will go with him again next April.

 

Mariano lives near Sorrento on land owned by his great grandfather. He knows and loves the area and enjoys showing it to people. He is a real gentleman and a very good guide. We recommend him highly.

Chalk another one up for Mariano. We went with him this past June and was the highlite of our 12 day cruise. We were privleged enough to be taken to that land and farm. Give him freedom to show you "his" Italy and I can gurantee you a wonderful day and sites no one on your ship will have seen. I only wish we had listened to him about spending less time (2 1/2) hours at Pompeii.

We are using Mariano in a few weeks we have a 14 and 18 year old with us they too are excited about our upcoming tour. We have decided not to do Pompeii and he said we will have more time to see other sights because of this. Its nice to see positive reviews about him because his name is not mentioned as much as the other drivers on this board...

I will see mariano in a few days for our excursions with him, glad everyone had a great time. he seems like a decent man and wants his customers to get the most out of the visit. will give everyone an update. we are also skipping pompeii.

We used Mariano this past Nov. He is wonderful. We visited Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano. He took us to a very reasonable local restaurrant with good service. We are using him again this coming Oct.
