Beachbound2006 Posted July 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2007 Just wondering if anybody has done this excursion at the end of a cruise. We are on AOS in August and looking into doing this on Sunday after we return to port. Our flight isn't until 6:10 pm so according to the guidelines on RCCL excursion we should be fine... Has anybody done this, how was it? What about luggage, does it go with you? Thanks
Gonzo70 Posted July 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2007 I did an excursion there via the hotel I stayed in pre-cruise. I don't know if it is the same excursion, but the rain forest is very beautiful and I had a great time walking through it. Definitely bring your camera! Ken Greco Posted July 6, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2007 My wife and I took and excursion to the rain forest a while back. On Sundays it can get very crowded because the local San Juan poeple go there on there day off. The rain forest is very pretty buy the crowds can ruin it for you. I would check with the front desk of your hotel and have them let you know you want to go. Ken
Clamett Posted July 6, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2007 We took the tour at the end of the cruise. RCCL took our luggage to the airport. The tour ended at the airport and our luggage was waiting for us. The rain forest trip was a nice experience. When we were there it wasn't crowded and it didn't rain on us so it was a good way to spend the time before your flight left.
Twaincruisers Posted July 7, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 7, 2007 We've been to the rainforest and had an excellent experience. However, we did an end of cruise local RCI tour after our AOS experience and our luggage was destroyed as it was removed from the ship or in the terminal...but they did transport it to the airport!
