Liquid Shiva Posted July 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2007 We just booked our cruise on the Sun from dec. 1st; Western Carab. I am counting the days! It seems that the 4 port days are all done by tenders. I know everybody wants to get the most of their port days, so here's my question; How do I get off the ship as early as possible? I know you have to get tender tickets, how do you get them? Wait in enormous lines, and if so, how early, and where? Does anybody have any tips in this matter? Thank you for your time, and excuse me for misspellings, I'm Dutch ;)
heelfan94 Posted July 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2007 I think Cozumel is dock instead of tender, but tender tickets are distributed either the night before or the morning of the tender process. You pick them up at the front desk and then wait for your number to be called. If you're in one of the upper level cabins you'll have access to VIP tender tickets which essentially means you can get off anytime you want. If you're part of an NCL excursion, you will meet and tender with your group. :)
KeystoneCruiser Posted July 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2007 Priority tender tickets (aka the early ones) go to those in the suites and those on NCL sponsored tours. Everyone else waits in the line for the tickets!
Liquid Shiva Posted July 7, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted July 7, 2007 Thanks al lot for your replies :o I still don't know if we are going to Cozumel, or Costa Maya on this cruise, my agent is confused (so am I) I did not ask for priority tickets (for not staying in a suite, en doing tours on my own). I was just wondering if you have to have your breakfast early (for instance) because the lines will be so long, and if you have to wait for a long time, It's nice to know when the boat docks at 08:00, I will not be on land before 10:

I'm sure we will have the times of our lives, If all tendering will be done in 40min, I'm happy  We will be going to Roatan, Belize, Cozumel, (and Stirrup Cay, no hurries there) On Belize we will be doing the tour on our own, for I want to snorkel with rays and sharks, NCL does not have than one in the tour.
