Please advise of the shadiest beaches in Cozumel, Belize and Grand Cayman.

I would love to go to the beaches but I cannot sit in the sun.

Thanks in advance for any info.

In Cozumel, we loved Paradise Beach. There is no natural shade, but LOTS of the loungers have a big umbrella that you can put up or leave down. It's a great beach, lots of fun, great food and drinks, clean restrooms. All they ask is that you spend $10 per person on food, drinks or the all-day pass to use their water toys (floating iceburg, floating tubes, float mats, kayaks) and you can stay and enjoy as long as you wish. We were there around 10 or 10:30 and we got loungers right down by the water. Fantastic!

Belize we did the Private Island Beach Break on Bannister Island. Not much shade from trees (a little, but not a lot) but they have a covered restaurant area, and several good sized gazebo-type huts that provide shade.

Enjoy your cruise! :)
