willbrook Posted July 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2007 I read on this forum several months ago that the MAJESTY had experienced a breakdown of its Air Conditioning system. I assume this was an isolated occurrance, but knowing the MAJESTY is an older ship, can any recent passengers comment on cabin A/C efficiency? Thanks. electricron Posted July 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2007 There hasn't been any recent reports about the a/c on the Majesty, therefore it's safe to assume the a/c is working. Believe me, if the a/c wasn't working, we would be hearing about it.
heelfan94 Posted July 8, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2007 electricron is absolutely right. The only time I remember hearing about AC trouble on the Majesty was last winter, and I believe it was a power outage that caused the trouble. We're planning our third Majesty cruise even as I type. We love her and want to spend as much time as possible on board while we can. :)
JPV072900 Posted July 9, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 9, 2007 I just got off the Majesty yesterday, and we were in cabin 4036 & 4034 and the A/C worked fine. My wife and kids were in 4036 and we liked it cold and my parents were in 4034 and they like it warmer. Both our thermostats worked fine and both cabins were at the right temperature for both of us! willbrook Posted July 9, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted July 9, 2007 Thanks for the responses - good to know it was a 'one-time' only problem.
