Orlando Airport (MCO) to the port, anyone know how far and how much

We have used the bus service several times and have found it really easy and reasonably priced. The busses are comfortable and will also show a DVD to help pass the time. The BEST thing is that once you put your luggage on the bus, you don't have to hassle with it again. It just shows up at your room. Also, you don't have to hassle with parking or rental car drop off.Sometimes you have to change busses midway down, but the company handles that for you. There is usually one stop for food and rest room break (facilities are available on the bus).

I agree though that the easiest thing for you would be to try to get a connecting flight to Ft. Lauderdale.

From Orlando the bus Cruise Connections is $75 per person round trip. You have to catch it at Mcdonalds - 9814 International Dr. - @ the Bee Line Expressway & Int'l Dr. at 8:00 am.

It's a pretty good price if there are only two people. If you talking about a family of 3-5 people, a rent-a-car would be much cheaper if you don't mind the drive. If you don't want to handle your luggage several times, you can drop it off at the ship along with your passengers, before turning the car in. If you're at the port by 11:00 am you shouldn't have any problem getting a seat inside where it's air conditioned while waiting to board.

Hi all thanks for your help, this post has been really useful to us. Caused a lot of ErrrrMMMMs and Arrrhhhhs.

After a long flight from Gatwick and the thought of hanging around for a further flight to FLL, it looks as if we are going to rent a car stay over on international drive and drive to FLL the next morning, EARLY!!

I know it will take some time will give ourselves 4 hours but we will be awake early (due to jet lag and excitment) and can stop for breakfast along the way.

We are definately going to book a flight from FLL back to Orlando the prices were very reasonable.
