KeywestK Posted July 10, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2007 Does anyone know if there are tour buses in Boston that offer a "loop" kind of service. That's where you pay a flat price for the whole day and can get on and off the tour buses all day long. Thanks for any advice and/or information. TXMary Posted July 10, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2007 Gray Line had a double decker Hop-on-hop-off bus tour in Boston when we were there before. We are hoping to be able to do that again on our cruise in September. The best part is that you can buy your tickets online on their website. Karen My advice is to get a $7.00 all day pass on the T. The traffic is crazy here. Boston is a very compact city and it is easy to walk around and get from point to point. Or try the Beantown trolley. I am a resident of MA and did this with friends that visited and it was a blast! http://www.bostontours.us/tours/tourDetail.cfm?tour_id=520 On the Beantown Trolley Tour and Harbor Cruise, you will enjoy a truly comprehensive tour of Boston. Take a two-hour narrated tour where you can hop on and off at your leisure to get a closer look at sights of interest to you. Following your trolley tour, you will tour Boston by water on the sightseeing harbor cruise (only available May thru October). This is the best way to see Boston, Massachusetts. Our trolleys run between 9:30 and 4:30 pm, with a trolley reaching each stop approximately every 20 minutes. The last daily departure is 3:00pm when daylight savings time is not in effect. Maraprince Posted July 16, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2007 Question: Do the trolley tours run all year long? We will be in Boston in late October and this might be a good option for seeing the City and getting on and off enroute. Specifically, we want to spend some time in Quincy Market and F. Hall, the North End, and whatever other places the trolleys go to. We do not want to take a cab to get around the town. MARAPRINCE

They run right until the end of Oct. If we have warm weather they occasionally add a week or so. HTH have fun here:)
