DiazLoves2Cruise Posted July 10, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2007 We're going to be booking Grand Princess for a holiday sailing in December, 2008. Princess doesn't have any pre or post hotels in their reservations system yet since it's about 18 months away. Does anyone know which hotels Princess generally uses in Fort Lauderdale? Any recommendations if we decide to book our own? We prefer upscale but not stuffy...like Marriott, Hyatt, etc. Thank you!

Up until April, 2008 Princess is using the Renaissance ($89 - $129 pp depending on dates), the Embassy Suites ($89 - $129) and the Marriott North ($69 - $79). We used the Princess package with the Renaissance in Plantation this past March. It was a very good deal ($69 pp and there were 4 of us) as it was during spring break and hotel prices were very high. Remember that the Princess hotel deals include transfer to the port, if you don't mind waiting for the bus brigade. We have had success with Hotwire in FLL. Booked the Renaissance for $112 per night in March for the night after our cruise. It's a 4-star Downtown/Las Olas area. mollyanne:)
