I wish you could book a future cruise while on your cruise and receive onboard credit. We've done that a couple times on RCCL. It's a win-win situation so I don't know why Carnival doesn't do it.

That is one I really like, you can get to Platinum quicker with on-board spending, I think the best program would be a combination of cruising and spending.

 

Cruise counts, but for each $XXXX dollars you spend on board, you get an extra cruise credit... I would already be Platinum!!!

I like this too! You should be rewarded for total bucks put in Carnival's pocket..... That way, a person spending $199 on cruises and nothing else on board couldn't rack up Platinum Status by spending $2000 while others may spend $2000 on just one cruise.

 

Others may not appreciate this, but I certainly do :)
