Stores near Dockyard

I've been to the Dockyard twice, but never really explored that area. Does anyone know if there is a store near the pier where one can purchase water/soda/beer to bring back on the ship. I know of places in Hamilton and St. George, but that would be a big inconvenience to carry it all the way back.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't remember any convenience type stores but if you exit the ship and look to your left you'll see what I thought was a church, It was actually an indoor type of a mall. Not what we're used to here but you'll find a little store with water/soda etc... It's a very short walk to the ship. Hope this helps.

if you look into dockyard from the ship, you'll see a marina full of boats. it's called pier 41 and they have a convenience store there with all the stuff you're looking for

Not a problem bringing water or soda on board. There is a hard cider we like to bring home for our daughter and we have never been stopped from bringing that on board either.
