Mattresses on board

Can anyone tell me what the deal is with the pillow top mattresses on Constellation in the concierge class cabins? I know that in the regular cabins when you request a queen size bed they just push the two twin beds together -- not very comfortable or easy to get close to hubby with the gap in the middle. In concierge class there are supposedly pillow top mattresses -- but does anyone know whether they actually put one queen size mattress on the bed, or do they just push the beds together? Thanks in advace for any info.

they put the beds together but they use some type of gap filler so you can't even tell they are two twins put together. Never had a gap problem, lol.

This will be my first time in CC. What should I choose from this menu??? And what are they?? Pillow top mattress???

To really enjoy ask them to put a second mattress on the beds along with a feather bed under the sheets. Take advantage of the CC and also get goose down pillows. Marvin

Didn't find all that necessay! The bed was wonderful all on it's own. They have obviously spent some bucks there. I am quite picky and never sleep well on those matresses but I'm here to tell you, I slept like a baby in CC. And I did not even have to space bag ny down pillow! X's were great! Worth the money for me, just for that!

 

But, of course, I did force myself to drink the smoothies and eat the french toast w.marmalade butter!

It's easier to bring your own.

 

We always bring our own King-sized mattress on board with us.

That little fridge never keeps my Aquafina cold enough. I just bring the old Amana from the garage. Wheel it right out on the balcony and you don't need to bring those balloons to spot your balcony!
