Lufthansa at Barcelona Airport

Recommended Posts

We have a 10 am flight from BCN to Frankfurt in Nov after the Voyager Cruise. I have read all the posts and plan to carry off our luggage to get there ASAP. Also hope to check in online the day before...

Does anyone have any experience with the Lufthansa check in area? I'm wondering about lines at that time of year.. Also, we are traveling on a frequent flyer first class ticket. Do they have a seperate line for first class check in?

Thanks,

Amy

We were on a Silverseas Cruise 4 years ago. We flew Lufthansa BCN to Frankfort and onto ORD. At the time, we were flying Business Class. There were separate check in lines for business and first class. Hope this helps.

I would follow HeinBloed's advice (he's always a great source of information!) regarding preparing for this airport in advance even knowing that you won't have a long wait in line. When we were there last month, AirFrance had just changed terminals, and there was mass chaos. I've flown through that airport a number of times, and it is always a zoo. So getting to that short line may take some time and patience, and the security lines can be VERY long in Barcelona too.

Have a great trip,

Donna
