Liberty....extended balcony question

Recommended Posts

My sister and her husband are going on the Liberty in Sept. They booked an 8A guarantee and got cabin 9280, an 8D. I asked her if she couldn't have gotten an 8C extended instead. When I look on Carnival's website, it doesn't say anything about extended balconies on the Liberty. Am I missing something?......I'm sure there must be extended balconies in the 8 catagory. I tried doing a search on these boards but only saw one or 2 cabins listed as extended (and they were on higher decks)

The Liberty doesn't have extended balconies like the Spirit does. Extended balconies on this ship are longer not wider and they are at the rear of the ship. Check the deck plans and you can see the difference.

Spirit class ships have more extended (deeper) balconies because of the configuration of the sides of the ship.
