LibertyBelle Posted May 10, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2004 We are booked on the NCL Sun in 2 weeks. I am getting so excited but today I was even more excited. My start up page on my computer has the live webcam from the White Pass and Yukon Railroad in Skagway. The web cam looks out to the rail yard and the ship port. The first Ships of the season are THERE today )or at least the first ones I have seen this season)... It made me so excited I want to go pack right now (19 days til the cruise)... My friends think I am crazy because I cruise a lot, so I thought I would share my excitement with people that would understand NCL Sun...ALASKA Disney Magic Repositioning RCCL Enchantment of the Seas 2003; Carnival Spirit 2003; RCCL Brilliance of the Seas 2002; RCCL Voyager of the Seas 2002; Disney Wonder May & Dec 2001; Disney Magic 2001; RCCL Sovereign of the Seas 2000; Disney Magic 1999; Disney Wonder 1999; Carnival Ecstasy 1999; NCL Norway 1998; Carnival Fantasy 1998; NCL Leeward 1997; Commodore Caribe I 1986

vjw1218 Posted May 11, 2004 #15 Share Posted May 11, 2004 Oh my, oh my! I can relate to all of you as well! We're booked on the HAL ms Amsterdam for departure on May 23 and we have started to count the hours. We are not "vacation planners" in aspect of booking trips many months ahead of time. Most of the time we have to may wait just a matter of weeks, but we booked this trip in February and it's been a long 3 months! (3 months is long for us.) HAPPY CRUISING TO ALL! famcruiser Posted May 11, 2004 #16 Share Posted May 11, 2004 Did I just read something about a Cirque de Soliel show in Vancouver? We're big fans! We've been to the one here in Orlando twice (once on the front row) and went to Las Vegas in December several years ago to see one there. But there are a lot of black out dates in December on shows, so it wasn't playing. We keep saying we'll go out there another time, but haven't yet. Anyway...could you, please, let me know about the one in Vancouver? Many thanks, Carole

LibertyBelle Posted May 12, 2004 Author #20 Share Posted May 12, 2004 Yes Quidam (my favorite Cirque show) is playing in Vancouver through June 6. Once it leaves Vancouver it goes to Calgary and then it is off to Australia and who knows when it will be back here again. It is at GM Place which is very close to the port. We are HUGE Cirque fans and have actually bought tickets for the night before the cruise May 29 and the day we return from the cruise June 6... I can't wait it was just an added bonus to our already exciting Alaska vacation...
