Brewhaha Posted July 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2007 Are tenders used for Juneau, Sitka, and Ketchikan or does the Oosterdam pull right up to the pier?
maxout Posted July 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2007 Out of those Ports, only Sitka will require tendering.
MissWindyCity Posted July 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2007 Are tenders used for Juneau, Sitka, and Ketchikan or does the Oosterdam pull right up to the pier? HI, I JUST RETURNED FROM ALASKA ON THE OOSTERDAM. THE ONLY PORT WE BOARDED A TENDER FOR WAS SITKA....VERY SHORT RIDE. IN JUNEAU THERE WAS A SHUTTLE BUS RIGHT AT THE PIER THAT TAKES YOU INTO TOWN OTHERWISE IT'S ABOUT A MILE WALK. AND IN KETCHIKAN YOU WALK OFF THE SHIP RIGHT AT THE MAIN TOWN AREA. ANY OTHER QUESTIONS, FEEL FREE TO ASK.
