donnar Posted July 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2007 Do We Have To Go Thru Customs In Tortola? If We Do--what Do We Have To Do? My Concern Is That We Plan On Going To The Beach And If We Have To Carry Our Passport I Am Going To Be Afraid To Leave Anything On The Beach. We Are Doing The Hike Excursion Which Ends At The Beach. Can Anyone Tell Me The Process For Tortola? Thanks So Much.:d
heelfan94 Posted July 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2007 I think you just take your key card and photo id and walk off the ship, right? That's what I remember.
CRUZIN TOM Posted July 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2007 No customs in Tortola. But I have heard it will depend on what stops you visited before. If you are on the Pearl definitely no customs.:)
almtyrob Posted July 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2007 We stopped in Tortolla after Bermuda & didn't do customs...just ship card. Tortolla security will look at your card when you walk back toward the ship, next to the market. You will have to get up early & do US customs on the ship in St. Thomas. What a pain, but we all want to be safe.:)
Planer's Edge Posted July 18, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 18, 2007 The only time you have to the customs thing is when you re-enter US territory after visiting a foreign port. Like When you come into St. Thomas after visiting somewhere like St. Maarten. Tortola will not be an issue whatsoever. PE
