just curious about the island delight, ultimate suntan, yellowbird, goombday smash, and caribbean breeze... What are in these drinks?? Thanks!!

Island Delight--rum, creme de banana, OJ

Suntan--rum, creme de banana, blackberry brandy, sweet&sour, OJ, grenadine

Yellowbird--rum, galliano, creme de banana, OJ, pineapple juice

Goombay--spice rum, light rum, apricot brandy, coconut cream, pineapple juice

Caribbean Breeze--spice rum, creme de banana, apricot brandy, OJ, pineapple juice, coconut cream, grenadine

 

Next cruise, I recommend investing in the Carnival Cocktails recipe book as I did . . . you won't regret it! I think it was only $3 too . . . what a deal.:D

Oh goodness. I don't drink very much, and since I'm leaving boyfriend at home for this cruise (just taking the kids) I wasn't planning to drink at all... but those drinks are going to be very difficult to pass up! Okay, maybe I'll have a few drinks.... :D

What is in a Kiss on the Lips

I didn't find that one in my Carnival Cocktails book, but I did find a recipe online and it also mentions it being a popular Carnival cruise drink. Here ya go:

1 - 1 1/2 oz peach schnapps

4 - 6 oz frozen mango mix

1 tbsp grenadine syrup

 

I haven't tried this one, but sounds like I need to!:p

Yikes! The only one of the above mentioned drinks that I've tried it the Caribbean Breeze. Now after reading what's in the other ones I'm going to have to try them all. Maybe several times each just to be sure ;) Thanks for sharing the ingredients~!

The recipe I got from the bartender on the Fantasy for Kiss on the Lips is:

2 oz Peach Schnapps

4 oz Mango Puree

Splash of Grenedine

 

Use one ice tray and blend. Splash a bit of Grenedine in a clear glass and swirl around. Pour in mix from blender and enjoy.

 

It has to be Mango puree or it wont mix right. You can get the puree at any liquor store.

 

Also dont forget to try the Dirty Banana. Real good also.

Yummo! From the ones mentioned in the original post, Goombay Smash is my favorite and Ultimate Suntan is my least favorite. I have many more to try on my next cruise though!!!

these all sound good but for my money the mexican mama is the best. i've tryed to buy the "drink book" on all of my cruises but they have always been sold out, so get it early.

OK what is in the mexican mama??? the kiss on the lips sounds great, I dont know about the rest of them as I do not like the flavor of banana....

good question. i was told on the boat it was the same thing as a bahama mama but with tequila.... i am willing to bet that someone from cc can tell us what's in it.
