GMoney Posted July 20, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2007 OK all of you AK experts - I found a great rate on B2B AK cruises on RCI's Radiance of the Seas, so I will be sailing 8/31 - 9/14. I'm reading posts like a crazy person to make plans and determine shore excursions, but can someone help me with the following basics: > I know weather varies, but any general guesses on how things will be ? > How long will daylight last? > Will there be things I can't do or see because of the time of year? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
cjnky Posted July 20, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2007 Certainly NO expert here, but I do have a Juneau travel guide in front of me. :D Weather likely to be WET - Juneau average temps in Sept. are 56 high, 43 low, with 6.73" of rain and 12.85 hours of daylight. You should get lots of end-of-the season shopping bargains. I'll leave it to the REAL experts to tell you what may not still be available that time of year. Have fun! I'll be leaving AK as you're arriving. :)
