Paying with cash question

If our onboard account is only a few hundred dollars, can we pay it of with cash? If so, when do we pay it?

I always pay off most if not all my bill the afternoon before the trip ends. The night before the line is really long - so don't wait until the last minute. A few times i end up buying things with my sea pass card after I settled my account - and I just let that go on my credit card - not worth waiting in the line at night.

It must be paid off on the last night I believe by 11 or possibly midnight.:)

We always pay in cash. We leave a CC on file and then once on board we give the Purser enough cash to cover our charges. And if we are a few bucks short, they charge the card the difference.
