:shriek!: Got a visit from the Upgrade Fairy!

I've been checking in to my reservation for WEEKS now, hoping against hope that I would get an upgrade from 1-S (the bunk bed room) on the 10/17 Elation to another category. I just checked in today & it shows my stateroom as being a 4A!!!

 

YAY!!!!! Doing a happy dance!!!

 

There are still guarantees available in the 4s & 5As....do I dare continue to dream? ;)

 

How is the Riviera deck, anyway? On my last cruise, I was on the Empress deck & it was fine.

I thought with the "new" system that assigns cabin numbers 7 or 8 weeks out, that once your guarentee cabin was assigned, you couldnt be upgraded further...Is that not true?
