Snorkeling Excursion Review

We did the Coral Breeze Snorkeling Excusrion last week. My family had a great time. We enjoyed a fun boat ride out to Caye Caulker and back to Belize. Snorkeling at the top of the barrier reef and sting ray alley was amazing. We loved snorkeling in the beautiful blue and warm water. Our guides Heni, Evar and Capt. Mark were very personable and helpful. When we were finished snorkeling, we returned to Caye Caulker to the Tropical Paradise Hotel and Restaurant. We were served a very good lunch, the people were very nice. We had a little time to walk around and explore this quiet, tropical island. I would recommend this excursion to anyone. It was a day my family will always remember.

Thanks travgurl. We are doing this excursion in about 18 days thru Shoretrips. How did you get hooked up with them when you got off the tender? Also, I was kind of concerned that our excursion starts at 8:30 am but we are not scheduled in until 8am. I've noted that Carnival let's people that have booked on their excursions off first, so I was worried about missing it.

I'm looking forward to Caye Caulker. Thanks for the info.

You will meet up with your tour once you are at the port area. Looks like you will receive instructions where to meet. We meet at the Wet Lizard Bar area. They were there waiting for us. This is the one place you will tender at. Yes, Carnival does let those who booked through them off first. But, others who want to go ashore, must get a tender ticket. They start giving them out at around 8 a.m. The desk where to get them is located on deck 5, next to a place called Cremes. It is past the Casino area to the left going back toward the clubs. We ate breakfast about 7:30 at the Red Sail, then went to the desk area. We got Tender number 3. Ask about what time to they think they will call your number. Go to your room and listen for them to call your tender number. You can start down at little earlier. Remember, when you arrive at 8 a.m. ship time, it is only 6 a.m. Belize time. They are very good at staying on schedule. We had time when we got back. We enjoyed a drink at the Wet Lizard. There is a 2 hour difference here. In Cozumel and Costa Maya there is only a 1 hour difference and Nassau in on ship time. You will love it. Have fun. If your guides are named Heni, Evar and Mark tell them Donna and family from Md. say hello.
