Drydock Schedule???

Does anyone know what is planned for Adventure Of The Seas dry dock in April of next year? We have reservations for May and was curious as to what we can expect to change. WIll the bedding be upgraded? Will LCD TVs be installed? Just curious. Thanks.

It seems to be just its regular srydock, which infers a "deep cleaning" and other maintenance that could not be done while guests were onboard. AOS already has the new linens and beds.

I can attest to the new bedding already on the AOS- we really enjoyed it in May - it is a vast improvement - very comfortable!:D

I've been seeing so many bad reviews on the shape of the Splendour and am just curious as we'll be sailing on her next May.

How often in general do the ships go into dry dock? I'm curious about the Splendour in particular. I see it's scheduled for March 2011...does anyone know when was the last time it was in dry dock? I've been seeing so many bad reviews on the shape of the Splendour and am just curious as we'll be sailing on her next May.

Thanks for the updated schedule. As a loyal Jewel of the Seas cruiser I am intrigued by the date of its 2011 drydocking and wonder if it will remain in Europe for this procedure or will undergo drydock after it arrives in Boston from its usual Harwich,England to Boston, MA transatlantic cruise. I suppose we will know more when the schedules for that period are eventually published. :)

Had recently booked my 40th birthday party cruise on Majesty for 2/5/10. Our T/A managing the group booking placed a call to RCL to confirm a few things before sending out booking info for our group and was told this sailing was now "Code Red." Now we know why.

EDIT:

There is "rumor" that Explorer will not sail on January 14, 2010. She is showing NA across the board after her Dry Dock week. It may be extended?

I have gotten this from reading all the posting from people sailing her.

I think he is off week on Enchantment. It arrives back in Ft Lauderdale from Panama on 4/19 then sails out of Norfolk on 5/1.

I kept going back and there it was.

You are correct in what it shows as far as the DRY DOCK schedule is off.

This schedule comes from RCCL so I am going to make a notation next to what is on there now.

Thank you for bringing that to our attention. This is how we get our information. From other CC's, who pick up on changes.

I will correct it now with an update next to the original. ;)

What that does to the Grandeur I do not know, head to pullman fleet maybe??

Well, the new itinerary comes out on Mexico 4/28/09 so I guess we will find out then. As of now she is only listed to sail until April 2010. Maybe :confused:

I believe Monarch or Majesty is next to go according to "rumors". ;)
