itsonlyme Posted July 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2007 Hi, We will be sailing on NOS at the end of August 2007 to Scandinavia and the Baltics. We will be in an inside stateroom. How will we know what the weather is like before we leave the cabin?
MercedMike Posted July 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2007 Most ships have a bridge cam on the TV set. Simply leave the TV on with the sound turned down, and it is like having a little porthole all your own! Or there is usually a channel with running information including weather. There will be a TV guide in your cabin when you board.
crusinmama06 Posted July 26, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2007 Also the forecast for the day is printed in your Compass. I'm sure it won't stray too far from that.
0ldog Posted July 26, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2007 Send your DO topside first, if they come back sweating, wear shorts, come back blue dress warm, or come back wet wear rain gear. Kidding aside best to layer. We went to Alaska and by the afternoon you were carrying most of what you had put on in the morning.
FreewayFortune Posted July 26, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 26, 2007 As others have said check your compass or the bridge cam on your TV. One of the comedians on a cruise I was on suggested keeping that channel on when you go to sleep, just mute it and that way you'll know the weather and you'll always have a view:) :) Enjoy your cruise.
