Late dinning, when do you see the shows?

packdnready,

Yes, if we have late assigned seating for dinner, we attend the early

show before dinner. It seems after I eat, my body goes in the digestion

mode (sleepy). If I go to the late show, we must rush out of dinner in

order to get a decent seat, or squeeze my butt past all those that are

in the good seats after to show starts. Then you will hear a snoring

noise during the comedians punch line...not good.

We've always had late traditional and made the dining experience itself the centerpiece of our evening "entertainment"! Since there wasn't a seating after us, we'd typically sit around until past 11 anyway just enjoying ourselves. (We've been very blessed with excellent dinner tablemates every time!)

You do have to "hurry" to see the late show with late dinner seating, unless there's a midnight show or something. We want to see more shows next cruise in Jan so we're switching to Anytime dining to allow us the flexibility.

Shows are usually around 8 and 10, they don't usually have shows at 6 which would be before your dinner hour. Most second seaters got to the 10.
To add to Steve's post: Occasionally they will have a show before late seating dinner while first seating is eating. Don't think I've seen more than one of these on any cruise we've been on.

Thanks everyone.

Our seating is confrimed late traditional. I was reading posts about how great

the late seating is after you have spent a long day in the water. They come

in and relax or take a nap and have a pre dinner drink on their balcony before

dinner.

So, I was wondering if they were missing the time when they were supposed

to see the shows. But if they are after dinner, we won't miss them after all.
