hgiel Posted July 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2007 We are going on the ship sponsored Peggy's Cove tour that gets back around 3:00 and the ship leaves at 5:00 so that doesn't give us much time back to wander the dock area which everyone says is really neat. What should we spend the precious little time left us on? Same for Charlottetown, we are scheduled for the double decker bus trip through HAL and it only leaves us about 1 1/2 hours for touring the dock area, is it comparable to Halifax? What should we key in on during our limited time? Thanks!!

MonaCD Posted July 30, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2007 Charlottetown is quite a bit smaller then Halifax but the waterfront offers more then enough things to keep you busy. Here are some of the attractions so you can see which might appeal to you, most are within walking distance of the dock. http://www.city.charlottetown.pe.ca/visitors/attractions.cfm You couls easily spend your hour and a half at the Peakes Quay area near the dock, there are restaurants, souviner and craft shops http://www.peakesquay.com/index.php Founders Hall and Sandland are within close proximity. You could venture further up and find Province House and the Confederation Centre of the Arts.
